Laws change
Rules for home care agencies change, sometimes quickly. For example, in 2025 Nevada passed Assembly Bill 519. It moved personal care agency law from NRS chapter 449 into a new chapter, NRS 449B, and the state licensing office's name and web address changed along with it. Our content shows a "current as of" date, which is currently October 20, 2026, and reflects the official sources we checked on that date. Always confirm current requirements with the licensing Division before you file.
